Curio Test Tube Necklace

Brutally Beautiful

Material
Each of these remarkable Curio Necklaces are made from bones that have been found in the forests of British Columbia where the endlessly talented creator of Brutally Beautiful resides. Each curio tube contains small bones, teeth, and feathers that were found while out on hikes. Small pieces of flowers, and or crystals are added bringing together various aspects of nature. The pieces are then sealed with resin to ensure it lasts a long time, with careful use of course.

These necklaces are made by the wonderful Amanda Bullick of Brutally Beautiful.

Amanda Bullick, The Conjurer, is a lover of life, nature and all the treasures that are left behind. She is a Vancouver based artist and the driving force behind Brutally Beautiful. "I feel, I lead with my heart. I believe we are all brutally beautiful just as we are all perfectly flawed...and I have the pictures to prove it." Amanda says of her art.

Since earning her BFA in Photography at the Alberta College Of Art And Design, Amanda has become a multi-discipline artist and often incorporates ethically sourced bones into her work.

By honouring life, death, and the inevitable rebirth in all things Amanda captures the essence of her brand - art that is truly BRUTALLY BEAUTIFUL.
