In the world of Witchcraft, Wicca, Paganism, and the like there's always been a superstition that blowing out a spell candle is thought to, essentially, blow the spell away and all of your efforts go to waste. Any magickal energy conjured in that candle ritual are blown away by your own breath. A candle snuffer is often recommended for that purpose. However, if you're like me and you just like to keep everything neat and tidy with your candle magick, you get yourself a snuffer. I find it even adds to my ritual, like taking a quiet moment to thank the candles (tools) I've used for the efforts and their energy.
So if you're feeling like a snuffer is a way to go, this beautiful etched brass one is perfect. It is made of solid brass making it have a really nice weight to it. The cone-shaped snuffer on the end is etched with flowers and sits on a hinge for when those tall glass jar candles
get down so low that you need a straight snuffer to put them out.
