White Sage, traditionally revered by certain Indigenous cultures of North America, is a potent botanical tool and medicine used to clear all forms of energy from a person, space, or object.
Rose Petals are burned to attract love, joy and peace to a household.
Given that White Sage holds deep cultural and spiritual significance in Indigenous traditions, it should be used with gratitude, awareness, and respect.
How to Use:
Hold the bundle in a flame until it reaches a steady smoulder (a candle is recommended for ease). Once smoking, blow out any flame and place the bundle in a heatproof dish while it is still smouldering. Using your hands, gently waft the smoke over your face and head to symbolically cleanse and wash away any negative energy.
To purify a space, ensure that a window or door is open to provide an exit for stagnant energy. Move intentionally through the area in a counterclockwise motion to undo and remove unwanted energy, directing the smoke into corners where energy often accumulates. Then, follow with a clockwise motion to seal the space and invite positive energy. Consider using a feather or hand fan to guide the smoke more effectively. Some practitioners also incorporate elemental balance by placing a bowl of water or salt nearby to ground the energy. Allow the bundle to extinguish naturally in its heatproof dish near an open window.
If needed, smother the embers in a covered container or mist with water to fully extinguish.
Express gratitude to these sacred tools after use, and consider incorporating a personal prayer or mantra to deepen your cleansing ritual.
Each bundle is 3 to 4" in length.
