The bark of this South American tree has been traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial agent and modern research has shown anticancer effects. It has been used as a dietary supplement that comes from the inner bark of several species of Tabebuia trees. It is used widely in Herbal Tea, Tinctures, salves, and tablets.

Pau d'Arco is used by Native shamans in stimulating aphrodisiac mixtures and as an Ayahuasca brew addition. It's a reviving tonic that's utilized in healing rituals and is believed to increase your magick's power when combined with other herbs, oils and crystals.
