Coltsfoot can be used in herbal smokes and may help ease nicotine addiction. It can be smoked by those with asthma, bronchitis, and other lung conditions that have a wet cough. Make Coltsfoot into a tea or syrup for a cough remedy (no more than 3 cups a day).  Coltsfoot tea can be used as a cold compress when applied to swollen areas or applied to the forehead for fevers. It can also be made into a poultice to help with eczema, sores, and itchy insect bites. Burn as an incense for divination and healing.
