Horehound has traditionally been used to make cough drops or cough syrup. It increases the secretion of thinner mucus to break up congestion. It's a great remedy for coughing wheezing and difficulty breathing. It can also stimulate digestion. 

Use in protection sachets or magick bags and carry it with you to guard against bad energy and to also keep it at bay. Dry horehound leaves can be sprinkled at doorways and windows, or mixed with ashes and water to release cleansing energy.
