High John Floor Sweep

High John Floor Sweep is a mix of High John (The Conqueror) Root and other herbs and is used to bring luck, strength, success and protection.  Sprinkle the mixture on your floor at night then sweep it up in the morning. 

High John the Conqueror is Deity of the African-American spiritual practice of Hoodoo. Though there is very little written information on the John the Conqueror Root, many of the earliest mentions are from oral traditions and in tales from escaped slaves like Fredrick Douglas in his autobiography "Narrative of The Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave" published in 1845. He is associated with the roots of Ipomoea purga, the John the Conqueror root or John the Conqueroo, a plant native to the South-eastern United States.
