Crafting Your Magical Sweep - Cobwebber Broomstick Workshop

DATE and TIME

We are so excited to host another incredible Handcrafted Broom Workshop with Kayla from Broomcorn & Broomsticks! In this fully immersive, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create your own cobwebber-style broom.

What is Broomcraft?

Broomcraft is the age-old practice of handcrafting brooms, each with a unique handle that captures the spirit of the wood from which it was made. This workshop will guide you through the process of creating a functional and enchanting broom that’s perfect for your home or sacred space. Brooms have long been associated with protection, cleansing, and magic, making this an ideal craft for those who appreciate both beauty and function in their tools and practice.

Kayla, the talented artisan behind Broomcorn & Broomsticks, has perfected the art of broom-making. Using carefully selected hardwoods, she crafts handles that highlight the natural grain and character of the wood, resulting in brooms that are as unique as the trees they came from. Each broom is a celebration of nature’s beauty and craftsmanship.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn to make a cobwebber-style broom from start to finish.
  • Be guided through the process of crafting your own broom, from selecting the perfect handle to attaching the bristles.
  • Get tips and techniques for broom care and how to incorporate your handcrafted broom into your daily life or rituals.

Please note:this is a full-body, immersive workshop that involves using your arms, hands, and legs, as well as standing for portions of the class. Broom-making is a physical craft that engages your whole body. If you have any questions about the workshop’s requirements, we warmly invite you to reach out to us before booking so we can help ensure it’s a good fit for you.
