The depiction of a labyrinthine serpent around a central spiral. The labyrinthine snake is representative of rebirth and renewal and relates to the three faces of Hecate – Maiden, mother, and Crone. The symbol not only represents Hakate and her ability to traverse time and space as a liminal Goddess but also the wheels or whirls as emanations of Divine thought.
