FAQs:

Where do the rats come from?

The rats used in this workshop are sourced from reptile feeder breeders. They are not killed specifically for the workshops; they are animals already bred and produced for the reptile food industry.

Are there chemicals used?

The workshop does not involve the use of harsh taxidermy chemicals.

Is It Gross?

This is real taxidermy, so you will be working hands-on with an animal specimen. That said, the process is generally much more clinical and methodical than many people expect. Most nervous beginners settle in surprisingly quickly once the workshop gets underway.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Is there an age requirement?

Pretty Dead generally recommends this workshop for ages 15+. Participants under 15 must attend with an adult. An accompanying adult does not need their own ticket if they are attending only to supervise or assist the younger participant.
